Her enterprise - CWE - is an online and offline pan India platform for women to start up and grow their businesses.

2012-2015: MD India for WEConnect International: Started the India operations connecting major corporations to innovative and cost-effective products and services offered by Indian women owned businesses.

Earlier as Senior Director NASSCOM (industry association for the ICT industry), she worked closely with ICT companies in India to address their growth needs and represent the industry to governments, customers/collaborators from other geographies, and investors. She headed NASSCOM’s SME Mentorship Program and Diversity & Inclusion Initiative.

Prior to NASSCOM, she was Communication Consultant to UNESCO to design and promote models of communication hubs for unconnected communities, particularly women.

Started her career with communication agency Ogilvy & Mather; then RK Swamy BBDO, Sistas, and MAA Bozell to create successful brands and corporate identity for major FMCG and industrial clients.

Founder-Director of two not-for-profit organizations, Madhyam and VOICES – focused on communication training and policy advocacy for citizen access to media and telecom. Notable accomplishments are the introduction of FM community radio in India and South Asia, and setting up of a Rural Development Fund for universal telecom access.

With IT services startup, eCapital Solutions, she headed their User Experience Design Group until their merger with Leading Edge Systems. Led the branding exercise for merged company Trigyn Technologies.

Graduated with Honours in English Literature and Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication, from University of Calcutta.

Entrepreneurial ventures led by women, deep sea diving and theatre are special interests.
